HS Coaches

Jason Lulloff -- Head Coach

Jason Lulloff took over the head coaching position in Holmen in 2010, after spending one year as an assistant to Ross Needham.  Lulloff coached three years at UW-La Crosse after earning four letters for the Eagles.  He completed his career with a record of 140-22 at UW-L, ranking third in school history in victories.

 He placed third at the 2007 NCAA Division III Championships at 184-pounds for his fourth career All-America honor. Lulloff became the second wrestler in school history to earn four career All-America accolades as he finished third in 2003, 2006 and 2007 and fourth in 2004.

The 2007 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Max Sparger Wrestling Scholar-Athlete, Lulloff was named to the 2007 CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America At-Large Second Team.  He was also a three-time member of the National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar Team.  A three-year team captain, Lulloff won three WIAC individual titles for UW-L.
Lulloff reigns from Kiel Wisconsin where he made two appearances in the state finals.  He was the school’s first wrestling state champion and compiled a high school career record of 136-12.
Since taking the reigns of the Vikings, the team has posted a 101-22 dual meet record, won 4 MVC titles, 6 Regional Championships and have made 3 team state appearances (2x semi-finalist).

Jared Bagniewski -- Head Assistant Coach

Jared Bagniewski graduated from Holmen in 2007.  During his high school career he was a 4 time letter winner with a career record of 149-24 ranking second in school history for victories.  Bagniewski  as a two-time state qualifier and placed 4th his senior year.  Jared has been with the Viking wrestling program since 2010.


Teague Fenwick -- JV Coach

Teague Fenwick is a 2013 graduate of Mauston High School and is currently attending the University of Wisconsin La-Crosse.  During his time in Mauston, Fenwick was a part of the 2013 Division 2 state runner-up wrestling team.  Fenwick was been with the Holmen wrestling program since the 2014-2015 season.


Adam Olson -- Assistant Coach

Adam Olson began wrestling in the Holmen youth program in 1988.  He graduated from Holmen High School in 2001.  He was a Bi-State champion, 2x state qualifier, placing at state his senior year.  In 2013-14, coach Olson was voted LaCrosse Sports Connection Volunteer of the Year.  Adam began coaching with the Vikings during the 2010-11 season.


Jamie Olson -- Assistant Coach

Jamie Olson is a 2001 graduate from Holmen High School.  More commonly known as “Jimmy”, Olson finished his senior season for the vikings with an impressive 30-8 record.  Jimmy began coaching with the vikings during the 2012-13 season.


Jonah Rieber -- Assistant Coach

Jonah Rieber is a 2015 graduate of Holmen High School and is currently attending school at Western Tech to become a diesel and heavy equipment technician.  During his career in Holmen, Rieber  was a part of two team state appearances as well as one individual state appearance.  Jonah began giving back to the sport as a coach at his alma mater during the 2015-2016 season.


Thurston Schuster -- Assistant Coach

Thurston is a 2012 graduate from Marshall, WI.  In high school, he was a 3-time state qualifier and 2-time state place winner.  Thurston is currently attending University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse and spent a year wrestling for the Eagles where he posted a 10-5 record at 174 pounds.  Thurston coached with vikings from 2012-2014, then took a year off to compete for UWL, and rejoins the vikings in the 2015-16 season.


Nolan Zumbach -- Assistant Coach

Nolan Zumbach is a 2012 graduate of West Delaware High School in Manchester, Iowa.  In High School, he was a state qualifier and WaMaC Conference Champion.  Nolan was also a member of West Delaware’s 2012 State Runner-Up Dual Team.  Nolan graduated from Iowa State University in 2016 and joined the Viking’s coaching staff for the 2016-2017 season.


Mike Rohowetz -- Assistant Coach

Mike Rohowetz began coaching for Holmen in 2016-17.  He wrestled 3 years at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse winning 3 letters.   Mike decorated his career with an All-American status while also qualifying for the National tournament twice.  

A 2003 graduate from River Valley High School, Rohowetz placed at state 3 times, was a 2 time finalist — concluding his senior season with a state championship.

Rohowetz also served 4 years active duty in the Air Force after he graduated college.  Where he was a Pt leader and a top honor graduate.
